James launched his professional racing career in 1998, quickly making a name for himself in the British Superbike Championship. In 2004 and 2007, he clinched the World Superbike Championship, earning the title of the youngest champion in history at that time. From 2008 to 2010, James showcased his talent in MotoGP™, competing for top teams like Yamaha and Tech3.

Today, he shares his wealth of knowledge and experience in motorcycle racing as a respected media broadcaster. Alongside his racing achievements, James is also a gifted singer-songwriter, having released several albums and toured with his music.
